Building Description

This project was based on the Zig Zag towers in Doha, Qatar. The towers serve as residential and retail space. The upper floors consists of the living areas while the bottom floors consist of more living areas with the addition of a large mall.

The distinguishing feature of the towers is the leaning of each section in order to create the zig zag look.

Below are two screenshots demonstrating the parametric relationship of the degree of lean. The relationship was based on the change in height of each section and the distance between the top of one section and level 1.

The next two screenshots demonstrate the parametric relationships of changing the length and width of the mass model. The length of the mall portion, is related to the length of the tower portion and will change when the tower length changes.

The mullion thickness and trim thickness are changeable.
